Cataracts Provincial Park
Just south east of Placentia lies a beautiful river running into a waterfall, which is a picture perfect destination for a short trip. Admire the view from the top, or venture down the stairs and platforms to get a closer view of the river and waterfall, as well as the unique, 1920’s arch bridge – the only one of its kind in Newfoundland!
