The Argentia Backland prepared walking trails provide breathtaking views of Placentia Bay along with a look into the history of Argentia. The Trail was developed by the Argentia Management Authority Inc. (now known as Port of Argentia) in July 1996. The various trails within the system are rated from easy to moderate.
Parking and washroom services are available at the Pavilion Picnic Area. Dogs are welcome on the trails, but must be on a leash at all times.
